Comment from Maeda Jun in the album:
I wrote this as the new standard battle song starting from Chapter 4. Everlasting Night made the bar feel quite high and this was born after an unbelievable number of exchanges with MANYO-san. Nagi-san’s falsetto at the beginning of the chorus feels so bittersweet. I don’t remember how I wrote the second bridge after the interlude, but I love that after the key changes, it goes back to the original key at the exact same time as when the “uso” in “kyozou ka uso” is repeated.
