Comment from Maeda Jun in the album:
This is the first song that underwent a complete transformation from my initial demo. Back in 2019, the game plan included raid battles, so I wrote a battle song that was nothing special for that purpose. However, after arranging and recording it, the song transformed into the most heartrending piece. In the end, it became exclusive to an important scene, and I even wanted to end the album with it. The booming guitar and Nagi-san’s melancholic singing captures the transience of the Seraph Corps soldiers, as well as their anguish and struggles.
